Securing Applications

This section of the tutorial provides an introduction to securing applications using Caché security. After completing this part of the tutorial, you will be able to:

  • Create and edit two different types of application definitions: Web and Privileged Routine Application.

  • Use resources to restrict access to applications.

  • Use role escalation with applications.

  • Describe the Caché features for securing Java, .NET, C++, and ActiveX connections to Caché.
