Consuming Web Services Using Caché

Part II of this tutorial focuses on creating Caché clients for Web Services. The Web Services can use any language and any platform, for example, Delphi, Java, or .NET. After completing this part of the tutorial, you will be able to:

  • Use the Caché SOAP Client Wizard to create proxy classes for communicating with a Web Service.

  • Use the proxy classes generated by the SOAP Client Wizard to invoke a Web Service.

  • Process the results returned to Caché Web Service client from a Web Service.
