An Example

The following pages demonstrate how to create a more useful Web Service. The Web Service allows the user to search MVFILE.PERSON data. The example assumes that you have imported the sample Universe account into Caché. Read Migrating a MultiValue Application for instructions.

Note:

MV_WS.xml contains the completed example code as well as the solution code for the exercise described at the end of this section. This file is in <cachesys>\Dev\tutorials\mv. You can import this file using Studio. For instructions, read Importing a File Using Studio.
